India Itinerary

Below you will find Kevin's travel itinerary. A lot of you prayer warriors like to pray specifically for each day's challenges. Please know that every prayer lifted up on Kevin and his team's behalf is appreciated and I believe honored by God because it is His will for these unreached people groups to hear His word.

If you would like to leave Kevin an encouraging word or prayer in the comments, I will be printing these off and giving them to him on Wed. morning before he departs. I know that seeing evidence of your commitment to pray will be encouraging to him so "comment" away!

FYI: Times given are the correct time for that city. "Storytelling" refers to our team teaching the Bible to villagers and/or the church planters in that village. Most do not read and most of the tribes do not have a written language so it is important to teach the Bible in a way that they can memorize/remember. Each of the 4 team members has 4 portions of scripture to memorize. Pray for them to finalize their internalizing of these Bible stories so that it comes across naturally and with passion. The team consists of Kevin, Randy, Steve, and Joe.

Kevin and family,

We are visiting Highland Meadows right now and love it. James and I go to Adult Sunday School (haven't been to one of those in years) and we are studying Mark. Mark 4 today. My prayer for the people you encounter will be that their hearts are not already hardened but that the Holy Spirit will go ahead of you and soften their hearts so that their ears will hear and their eyes will see. I love Romans 1:20 because no matter what they have been taught they know their is a creator and they hopefully will recognize Him when you start to talk about HIm. :)

Love and Blessings,
Caren and family

Kevin -

My bible study group will have your itinerary as well, and we will be praying in force for each opportunity you have to change lives along the way. I pray that each day you will be met with open ears, hearts and minds. And I hope you will constantly keep in mind the positive influences God has already used your hands in as inspiration for each day of your journey. My constant prayer is for safe travels and return to Tulsa for your team. Thank you for serving God in such a profound way. You are amazing!!

I love you,
Aunt Liz

I will add you to my prayer list! Just read an itinerary from the Wescoats. Charlie and Chris just left to go to Nigeria to do some work with Sara who has been there for 9 months now. I pray that the Holy Spirit will empower you to make the Bible come alive for those people while you are storytelling.

Kevin & Family,
We miss you all so much, but are thrilled that you are following your call to the mission field and know that you are where the Lord wants you to be! Kevin I pray specifically for you, that you have safe travel and that the Lord will give you and your team stamina as you travel more than half way around the world. I pray that God will use this trip to open the eyes of the people who have never been exposed to the Gospel. Rest assured he will provide the right opportunities with the right individuals. If you grow tired, remember Matthew 11:28 "Come to Me, all who are weary and heavy-laden, and I will give you rest." God will be with you every moment. He will supply all your needs! Sharon and Kids, I pray that things go well while Kevin/Dad is out of town. Stand firm and be there to support one another. Hope all is well! We will continue to pray for you in your time apart and will be excited to hear about your trip afterwards! MCBC, Women's Ministry, AWANA, Youth, Gospel Bringers are not the same without you! You are all truly missed!
Blessings! Cammy & Family
